This course introduced students to foundational philosophy of science concepts, such as scientific realism and underdetermination, as well as applied aspects, such as research ethics, to examine the interactions between science and society.

With my co-instructors, we introduced students to recent developments within the philosophy of climate science literature, including philosophical concerns within climate modeling as well as the socio-political impacts and ethical implications of climate change.
