Beyond values: the introduction of subjectivity and its use in decision-making under uncertainty in Erkenntnis

• Develops an broader account of subjectivity that extends beyond the role of non-epistemic values, focusing on the role different subjective aspects play in addressing uncertainty in decision-making.

AI, Experts, and Epistemic Authority in Philosophy of Science

• Argues that advanced AI systems can be seen as candidates for epistemic authority, challenging the distinction between scientific instuments and human experts.

What defines a flood in Nature: Communications Earth & Environment

co-authored with Abdallah Zaki & Omar Wani

• Develops a novel definition framework for the flood phenomenon, recognizing the necessary appeal to normativitly defined features. This is a philosophical analyisis which changes how a scientific community conceptualizes its subject matter.
